Dear Pennsylvanians Who Have Ever Talked About or Have Had Experience with Hurricane Agnes and/or Irene: Our submission deadline has been extended until Wednesday, August 8th.  We need your support to make this happen.  Maybe you’re intimidated.  Maybe you said, “Well, I’m not an artist or a writer, per se…”  But if you have photos of the flood(s), if you have stories about the flood, then please share them.  The topic of flooding is as rampant as pizza and potholes in this part of Pennsylvania (alliteration intended, of course.)  Please spread the word.  We look forward to your content.  Details below.  Thank you. We are looking for your creative responses to flooding in Northeastern PA. In light of the 40th anniversary of Hurricane Agnes this year, we will be releasing a special edition of Word Fountain.  We hope to collect donations for this issue to create a special fund for flood victims.  We are also looking for sponsors for this special project.
